Hellacious Movies Movie Review : When I heard about a movie being released that featured both the
PREDATOR and ALIEN my first thoughts on the matter was either "they ran out of ideas" or "they
must be desperate" Being a big fan of PREDATOR and ALIEN I had no other choice but to
rent the dvd! I really was not expecting much more than an epic rumble between the two franchise
legends! But boy was I pleasantly surprised! The script was intelligent, (Paul W.S. Anderson, Dan
O Bannon, Ronald Shusett) the deployment of direction (Paul W.S. Anderson) was calculated and
executed with great precision! Everything about the movie reflected their respect for their loyal fans!
The writers greatest influences were the Aztecs and Erich von Daniken! As well as the 1989 Comic
Book which featured both PREDATOR and ALIEN! They put great thought and effort into devising
a credible script that could tie their extraterrestrial killing machines to our past and even identified
them as the explanation for why entire civilizations disappeared! I gotta tell ya I lapped it all up like
I was on death row and this was my last meal! It was the Gravy on the Tators! Ummm Mmmmm!
I am not one for giving away too much, but I enjoyed the leaping face huggers and the PREDATOR playing
cold steel frisbee with a face hugger! lol Don't listen to all of the negative nancies out there! See it for yourself!
