Louie Psihoyos Movie THE COVE : Ric O'Barry former dolphin trainer and a group of activists
film The Cove in Taiji, Japan to capture and expose the shocking and brutal Taiji dolphin slaughter!
Hellacious Movies Movie Review: I can't imagine anyone not becoming an advocate for dolphins after seeing
this film! Yes! The documentary is that powerful! The cameras don't lie! Ric O'Barry, famous for training the
dolphins for the TV series Flipper, doesn't lie! The evidence is more than compelling, it's damning!
Video cameras document the fishermen driving dolphins into a hidden cove, where they sell a few to sea
aquariums and the rest are butchered alive to sell at the meat markets! The water at the cove literally
turns "blood red" from the sheer magnitude of blood loss from the Taiji dolphin massacre!
The people in this film are a true inspiration! They risk their lives to reveal a crime so heinous it's beyond
comprehension! I cannot wrap my head around the fact that people of the 21st century are capable of such
cruelty and barbarism! Director Louie Psihoyos, whose photos have appeared on many National Geographic
covers delivers his finest work in the form of this exquisitely crafted documentary that takes no prisoners!
