Hellacious Movies Movie Review : THE DARK CRYSTAL had a vast array of wonderous
creatures to capture your imagination! It is a dark fantasy rich in creativity and fantasy! The DARK
CRYSTAL was dark enough to entertain me and remain appropriate and appealing to older children! In
2010 it was announced that they were going to create a sequel "Power of the Dark Crystal" in 3D!
Peter and Michael Spierig (directors of Daybreakers and Undead) were hired to direct the sequel! So
I expect the film to be even darker than the 1st! And with the combination of live ation, CGI,
puppetry and animatronics I expect it to be a glorious feast for the eyes and imagination!
