Hellacious Movies Movie Review: A roller coaster ride of complete depravity and
debachery! Most memorable moments that help define the movie and the madness of
heroin addiction would be when Renton (Ewan McGregor) loses his opium suppository
in the filthiest toilet in Scotland and proceeds to stick his hand in the toilets
fermenting stool searching frantically for his precious next fix!
The movie has its share of comedic moments as well. There is the scene where
Spud is playing tug of war with his soiled bed sheets and the vile contents
fly into the faces and hair of those sitting at the breakfast table!
The movie is laced with strong scottish accents, I found it quite beneficial
to leave the Subtitles on. It's worth mentioning it has a Killer Soundtrack!
After all is said and done it's nothing more than a Raucus Anti-Establishment flick!
